The Next Web (TNW) is billed as Europe’s leading tech fest, and the 17th edition will be hosted in Amsterdam.

Speakers and panellists representing tech big leaguers like Google, Basecamp, Unilever, Spotify, and the brand’s parent company the Financial Times will touch upon all the hot tech topics such as AI, web3, cybersecurity, quantum computing, and more.

With these kinds of topics, our company will feel as at home as a wombat in a burrow. At Go Wombat, we consult on and implement innovative solutions for companies who are ready to expand their reach and optimise their processes.

You’re invited to enjoy a ‘wall-to-carpet Wombat experience’ at booth #56 on 15-16 June. As you prepare for the future at TNW, you can get to know the specifics of what we do and who we are.

But in the meantime, here’s a little teaser for you.

Finding common ground

In April of this year, TNW experimented with a new event in Valencia. Coincidentally, we recently started a branch there, so we tested it out as well, from the side of attendees.

We met the organisers and had a long conversation. It wasn’t about them ‘selling’ us something – we found that the format and people there are very relevant to our business and vision.

- Volodymir Sokolovskyi, CEO

Just as TNW has decided to return to Valencia, Go Wombat is proud to play a part in making the sunny city a new hub for tech-related entrepreneurship and innovation. We’ve already had a team working there for a year, officially opening our office in April. Feel free to stop by if you find yourself in southern Spain!

Representatives from Go Wombat attended the pilot TNW event in Valencia in April 2023. We found it to be a good fit.

Reclaiming the future

Are recent leaps in AI making you feel a little uneasy? Do you find big data a bit overwhelming? Is social media somehow making you feel less connected?

Though the event and media brand had previously elected not to have evolving annual themes, TNW felt it necessary to label this year’s edition Reclaim the future.

That’s because the organisers have set out to redouble their efforts to promote technology as a force for hope, addressing head-on the pervasive feeling of anxiety and uncertainty about where tech (and the world in general is) heading.

The new TNW encourages us to be optimistic again about the potential of technology for a better future. At Go Wombat we put this into practice –  consulting businesses and creating software for companies to overcome their current challenges and prepare them for future success.

As our CEO Volodymyr says, “Technologies, including recent developments in AI, are just tools: it all depends on how you use them.”

One of this year’s themes at TNW is ‘futureproof’. Go Wombat can help businesses achieve this.

Is your business futureproof?

One of the TNW themes this year is Futureproof, and this is particularly pertinent to what we do. Go Wombat helps digitalise and automate companies – to avoid potential bottlenecks, increase their efficiency, and broaden their scope.

Your business may be facing challenges now, and there are probably some you’re not even aware of that will present themselves as you move forward and scale up.

While we're in Amsterdam for the TNW event and the days that follow, our commitment extends beyond simply keeping up with the latest developments; we prioritise preparing our clients for what's next, ensuring their success is ever-evolving.

- Sulley Ahmed, Head of Marketing

Our seasoned developers apply state-of-the-art technology to solutions fully customised to your organisation’s current requirements, but also with the flexibility to meet the challenges of an ever-changing business climate. And to help keep you ready for what’s next, we offer continual support and maintenance for the solution we create specifically for you.

Consultants you can count on for the days ahead

It’s clear that adopting new technology isn’t without its pitfalls. That’s where Go Wombat comes in as a steady-handed guide.

An overarching theme from our client feedback can be summed up in one word: trust. They have come to rely on us for high-quality work, transparency, and direct communication. We fully consider our clients’ needs and are clear about what we can do. And we have the experience and technical skills to put it into action.

Analysing the current state of your business

Our expert business analysts get to know your organisation and help find ways to unlock your full potential, finding workflows you can automate and integrating and implementing software applications geared to improve your operations.

But these services aren’t limited to building said software – our analyses have revealed blindspots that were keeping businesses from their full potential. Go Wombat identifies how to improve processes, but we also look at metrics like spending and KPIs and find ways our clients could earn more.

Beyond technological know-how, looking at your organisation from an outsider’s perspective and applying the business acumen we’ve accumulated over the years will help make you more agile and optimise your costs.

Find out how our software and consulting services can futureproof your business – come see us at booth #56 or contact us today to set up a meeting.

A forward-looking company that looks forward to learning

Our delegation to TNW 2023 looks forward to expanding our knowledge about all things tech.

As we prepare other companies for the future, we like to keep ourselves fully informed about what’s on the horizon. TNW says part of futureproofing involves investing in “upskilling and reskilling your workforce for the digital age.”

This is one of the values our company regularly puts into practice. That’s why we’ll be sending some of our Wombats to TNW – not only to spread the word about our services, but also to deepen our professional and personal knowledge.

The status of social media

The way people interact with social media continues to evolve, and the way companies use it to interact with customers along with it.

Of course, some aspects of these networks have contributed to negative feelings about technology, but there are always new developments, strategies, and platforms to utilise in the sphere. And make no mistake that The Next Web will be at the forefront of the discussion.

Today, trends in social networks change almost every day. What was relevant yesterday may no longer be relevant today. At the same time, the number of people on social networks is increasing.

That means it is becoming increasingly difficult to attract people’s attention. Therefore, specialists must constantly look for new creative methods to stand out among competitors. I am very interested to learn about the professional content experience of the speakers at TNW.

- Daria Krotenko, Social Media Manager

ChatGPT: More than small talk

In the last few months, ChatGPT and other new AI apps have caused a tsunami reaching well beyond the realm of IT. As brave new possibilities continue to unfold, our company follows its curiosities and puts them to the test in pragmatic ways in order to become more efficient and effective in our work.

Our leadership saw the writing on the wall early on and began disseminating information about the new tools and – even more – encouraging Wombats to weave them into their work. To put it bluntly, the idea was: ‘this is going to be the future, so it’s better to start using it now.’

Technologies and new tools change our usual workflow, so as a marketer, I’m especially interested in attending the NN Group presentation,‘’Revolutionising customer experience with tech’’, about how artificial intelligence and ChatGPT affect the customer experience and shape new opportunities in the age of digital technologies.

- Anastasia Kovalchuk, Marketing Manager

What TNW sessions are you interested in attending? We love to chat about these topics, so feel free to find us at booth #56.

Opportunities for new connections

TNW is a great place to meet like-minded people, and we look forward to getting to know people who we can potentially build lasting partnerships with.

We find it so much more effective and comfortable to meet clients and partners face-to-face. Conferences like TNW provide the perfect opportunity to do this. There is an ocean of possibilities, not only to deepen our knowledge, but also to make meaningful connections.

- Oksana Shipilova, Business Development and Partnerships Manager

Would you like to join us at the forefront of innovative solutions? As we expand our representation across more cities, see how cooperation can lead to more possibilities for both of our businesses.

If you’re interested in working with us, reach out now to set up an appointment with us while we’re there in Amsterdam. Our representatives will be staying a few days after the conference ends as well.

Otherwise, stop by our booth (#56) during the festivities, and we’ll chat about the future of tech and how your company can thrive in it!
