Overview

The Logo League project allows companies to announce a logo and brand style development competition among designers. The project announces a competition for designers where they can develop a brand style and logo, win the competition and get a reward for their work. At the same time, a company has many contractors and can choose the most suitable one.

The brand new idea of the platform lies in the deep gamification of the process. The reward system gives the winning designers not only the contract but also some amount of the system’s own cryptocurrency.

Challenge

The main challenge in this project was to help the client to transform his business vision into practical technical terms. Consultancy itself played a major role among all other services provided by Go Wombat. The client had rich experience in creating complicated blockchain and NFT-based platforms, although needed additional expertise in choosing the right way to implement the idea for the Logo League platform.

Solution

A common decision was made to develop the project in full agile mode. The initial schema of the service created by the client and the team was hugely modified in the process to fit the latest market demands. This approach required splitting the development into several iteration phases. Each of them had to have its own result and deliverability which - in turn - demanded high focus from the team and the project manager.

The project was developed in several iterations. The client managed to provide extensive tech documentation created with the help of the Go Wombat business analyst. The QA team used it for making the checklists for ensuring the planned deliverability. This flow helped determine the priorities and implement them in time. The platform is functioning and further development will be based on a solid docs base.
